The Work of the Kabbalist – Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi
This is a very practical book, concerned with making ancient, esoteric knowledge accessible today. It explains the reasons for ritual, relates the Tree of Life to depth psychology, and provides a number of useful exercises that you can use to change your life and your world.
The kabbalistic method is the practical art of attaining knowledge of the higher worlds and developing the ability to draw down its substance and power. To will, conceive, form and carry out a spiritual project, or transmit a cosmic influence, requires not only a comprehension of esoteric principles, but skill to implement them. This book sets out the process of acquiring such knowledge and the techniques for how to use it for different purposes and at various levels.
Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi is the author of eleven books on various aspects of Kabbalah including Adam and the Kabbalistic Tree, Introduction to the Cabala, Kabbalah and Exodus, A Kabbalistic Universe, Psychology and Kabblah, School of the Soul, and The Way of Kabbalah. He lives in London but teaches courses in Kabbalah all over the world—in Europe, North and South America, and Israel.
