Spirit, the way to inspiration – Arent Weevers
As a student chaplain and (co-)founder and developer of the Spirit minor and training course, Arent Weevers regularly hears and reads students’ personal views. Their stones are about searching for inspiration. A desire to live LIFE That’s the path they want to take.
This collection of their stones has been themed around experiences that have influenced them. Pain, love, death, happiness, understanding and/or responsibility. Arent Weevers has written about these stories and supplemented them with additional texts and with quotes and images. Thus, this has become a booklet which will perhaps also be useful for their peers who are interested in spiritual development.
Arent Weevers is both a student chaplain at the Saxion University of Deventer and a chaplain of the Special Ministry to Liberal Protestants in Hengelo. In addition to this, he is a (3D) video artist and he exhibits regularly at home and abroad. Earlier he published Spirituality at Bill Viola, Introduction mystica’ influence on his video art (2004) and Moving Images, biblically inspired video art (2009). The book Transcendence versus Embodied Media — the MediArt of Arent Weevers about his work as a media artist appeared in 2014.
Het boek is gepresenteerd op de Conference of European University Chaplains 2015
